ABOUT ME
I am a writer and web developer who has been working on interactive media and online communication strategy for the past seven years. When I was 24 years old, I worked for a public relations company as a writer and media pitcher. While there, I launched their web services department. I designed and built websites and managed the production of online applications for our clients, which consisted of international architecture firms, real estate developers, law firms, small businesses, universities and non-profits.
As the Internet changes, we all must continue to adapt. I now work with clients to integrate blogs, incorporate video into their websites, develop social media strategies, optimize websites for search engines and create and disseminate email campaigns for the purpose of building constituencies and raising money.

SMITHSONIAN AFFILIATIONS
I am currently working with Smithsonian Affiliations to develop an online communications strategy. I am also redesigning their blog and incorporating social media and Web 2.0 tools with their current online collateral in order to help promote their members, facilitate internal communication among affiliates, and reach out to new museums who may wish to become affiliates.

BLUE FRONTIER
This is a redesign for an ocean advocacy group. I am cleaning up the design, redeveloping the site, attaching it to a CMS so that staff can update it, and organizing all their videos and photos into a new FlickR page and YouTube channel in order to increase their visibility in search engines.

ATLANTA VOLUNTEER LAWYERS FOUNDATION
This fall I am working on a significant upgrade for the AVLF website. It is currently out of date in terms of design and functionality. We will be giving it a facelift and creating a portal for online donations.
